New Jersey World Cup 2026: Fan Events Guide
The World Cup Final is in New Jersey. Three national teams (Brazil, Morocco, Senegal) are based in New Jersey. And the Garden State has its own set of fan events running throughout the tournament — separate from the NYC fan zones. Here's the full picture.
Jersey Fan Hub — Harrison, NJ
The NYNJ World Cup 26 Jersey Fan Hub at Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, NJ is the flagship New Jersey fan experience:
- Dates: Select dates, June 13 – July 15, 2026
- Venue: Sports Illustrated Stadium, Harrison, NJ
- Features: 60-foot video screen for live match broadcasts, Hype House fan space, concerts, interactive experiences
- Tickets: Group stage events $10 (children under 12 free); knockout rounds may vary
- Transit: NJ Transit to Harrison station — accessible from Penn Station NYC
Flag Cities — free events on match days
New Jersey's Flag Cities program brings World Cup celebrations to communities across the state on match days. Sponsored by Goya, these are free street festival-style events featuring live entertainment, international cuisines, vendor villages, interactive soccer experiences, and watch parties. Think of them as supersized, soccer-themed street fairs.
Flag Cities schedule
- June 12 (Friday) — Columbus Drive, Jersey City
- June 14 (Sunday) — Overpeck Park, Bergen County
- June 21 (Sunday) — Laurel Hill Park, Secaucus
- June 24 (Wednesday) — Mulberry Commons, Newark
- June 26 (Friday) — Downtown East Rutherford
These events are worth knowing about especially if you're staying in New Jersey — they provide a fan atmosphere on non-match days and on days when getting into NYC feels unnecessary.
