adidas Home of Soccer Opens Tomorrow at Brooklyn Bridge Park — Free Tickets Available Now
Free tickets to the most atmospheric World Cup fan venue in New York City drop today. The adidas Home of Soccer in New York opens tomorrow, June 13, at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza in Brooklyn Bridge Park — and it runs all the way through the Final on July 19. Tickets are free but required, and reservations open on a rolling 24-hour basis starting now at adidas.com.
What's There
The activation is spread across Emily Warren Roebling Plaza and the Empire Fulton Ferry lawn — two of the most scenic stretches of Brooklyn's waterfront, directly beneath the Brooklyn Bridge with an unobstructed view of Lower Manhattan. Open daily from noon to 10pm, the experience includes:
- Live match screenings on a large outdoor screen for select games throughout the tournament
- 3v3 soccer pitch — open for pickup play between matches
- Food vendors and a beer garden
- Interactive experiences and cultural programming celebrating global soccer fandom
- Live music on select dates (see below)
Entry is free. Tickets do not guarantee entry — admission is first come, first served — but having a reservation means you're in the priority queue. Reserve up to 24 hours in advance at the adidas website.
The Watch Party Schedule
Not every match screens at Brooklyn Bridge Park — the venue will publish its screening schedule on a rolling basis. Several matches run late enough that the city has approved extended hours beyond the normal NYC noise code limits:
- June 18 — Mexico vs. South Korea (9pm game, closes 11:30pm)
- June 19 — Brazil vs. Haiti (9pm game, closes 11:30pm)
- June 25 — Turkey vs. USA (10pm game, closes 12:30am)
- June 26 — Uruguay vs. Spain (8pm game, closes 10:30pm)
- July 11 — Quarterfinal (9pm game, closes 11:30pm)
The venue is closed July 3–5 for Fourth of July celebrations. There are no matches on July 8, 12, or 13, but the event space stays open those days.
Live Music
The lineup announced so far is strong. PinkPantheress and rapper Larry June perform on June 26. A special guest headliner for July 18 will be announced on adidas.com. More dates are expected.
Getting There
Brooklyn Bridge Park is well-served by transit. No driving — parking in DUMBO is extremely limited and the surrounding streets will be busy throughout the tournament.
- Subway: A/C to High Street–Brooklyn Bridge; 2/3 to Clark Street; F to York Street; 4/5 to Borough Hall
- NYC Ferry: East River route to DUMBO/Fulton Ferry; South Brooklyn route to Pier 6
- CitiBike: Stations at Atlantic Ave & Furman St (Pier 6), Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 2, Old Fulton St
Why This Is the Best Free Venue in NYC
The five official borough fan zones — Queens at USTA, Brooklyn's other activations, Bronx, Staten Island, and the Telemundo Fan Village at Rockefeller Center — are all ticketed and capacity-limited. adidas Home of Soccer is the only major venue that runs the entire tournament, from the first MetLife match (Brazil–Morocco, June 13) through the Final (July 19), in one of the most photogenic settings in the city. The Manhattan skyline reflected in the East River, the bridge overhead, the sound of the crowd — there's nowhere else in New York quite like this during the World Cup.
