Jackson Heights, Queens — Argentine NYC HQ

Roosevelt Avenue between 74th and 90th Street in Jackson Heights is the undisputed center of Argentine NYC. Tonight it will be full from midnight. Sunday, for the Final, expect it to be impenetrable by noon. The 7 train from Times Square gets you there in 20 minutes. If you want to be surrounded by the most passionate Argentine fans in New York, this is the only place. Arrive by 1pm Sunday to get a spot inside a bar. After the final whistle, expect Roosevelt Avenue to be closed to traffic for the celebrations — win or lose, this neighborhood will be loud until well after midnight.

Astoria, Queens

Astoria has a strong South American community and its soccer bars — particularly on Steinway Street and 31st Street — will be packed for the Final. Slightly more manageable than Jackson Heights. Book ahead.

Sunnyside, Queens

Sunnyside has a growing Argentine and South American community that makes it a secondary hub for Final watch parties. Greenpoint Avenue and Queens Boulevard bars will be showing the match.

East Village, Manhattan

Nevada Smith's on E 3rd Street is Manhattan's most famous soccer bar and will have the Final. Book well in advance — they typically oversell for Final day. The East Village bar strip will be full of mixed fans.
