NYC Watch Party Guide
The 2:00 AM kickoff is brutal but NYC's Mexican community doesn't care — this is the World Cup at the Azteca. Sunset Park in Brooklyn (8th Avenue) is the main hub. Corona, Queens and the Bronx's Mott Haven neighborhood will also be packed. This is a late-night, full-energy watch party situation.
- Sunset Park, Brooklyn (8th Ave) — NYC's Mexican heartland. Every bar on 8th Avenue between 40th and 60th St will be showing the match. Expect massive crowds even at 2 AM.
- Corona, Queens — strong Mexican and Latin American community around Roosevelt Ave and Junction Blvd
- Mott Haven, Bronx — Mexican community bars, very local and passionate
- East Harlem (El Barrio) — mixed Latin crowd with strong Mexican representation
