Central Park Fan Zone
The official FIFA Fan Zone in Central Park Great Lawn will be open for the World Cup Final. Free entry, big screens, live entertainment, food and drink vendors. Expected capacity 50,000+. Arrive by noon for a good spot โ the fan zone fills up hours before kickoff for Final day. This is the best free option for watching the Final in a crowd if you can't get tickets to MetLife.
Times Square
Times Square will have a large World Cup Final crowd gathering around the area's outdoor screens even without an official fan event. The intersection of 45th Street and Broadway becomes an outdoor gathering space for major sporting events. Argentina and Spanish fans mixing in Times Square during the Final will be one of the great NYC spectacles of 2026.
Rockefeller Center
The outdoor plaza at Rockefeller Center has been a World Cup gathering point throughout the tournament. Check the city's official events calendar for Final-day programming โ the Plaza has hosted live viewing events for major matches.
South Street Seaport
The Seaport District has hosted World Cup watch events on the outdoor screens throughout the tournament. Final day at the Seaport will have lower Manhattan crowds with waterfront views.
