World Cup Final Packages NYC — July 19, 2026
July 19 is not a normal day. The 2026 FIFA World Cup Final kicks off at MetLife Stadium at 3pm. By evening, Ariana Grande is closing her five-night Barclays Center residency and Bon Jovi is playing MSG. In Central Park, 50,000 people are watching the Final on a 60-foot screen. New York City has not had a day like this in living memory. Here is how to build your July 19 from the ground up.
🎟 World Cup Final Tickets
The Final is the hardest ticket in sports this year. Official tickets via FIFA and Ticketmaster are at face value; resale prices are in the thousands. If you're attending the match, buy your NJ Transit ticket simultaneously — they sell out independently of match tickets. Round-trip from Penn Station is $98. Buy in advance.

🏨 Final Weekend Hotels (July 17–19)
Hotels in Manhattan and Brooklyn for July 17–19 are already pricing at 2–3x the surrounding weekends. This is the single most expensive hotel window of 2026 in New York. If you haven't booked, do it now. Midtown puts you close to MSG (Bon Jovi), Penn Station (NJ Transit to MetLife), and the Rockefeller Center Fan Village. Downtown Brooklyn puts you within walking distance of Barclays (Ariana Grande).

🎤 Concerts on Final Day
If you can't get a Final ticket — or want to experience July 19 a different way — two of the most in-demand concerts of the summer are happening the same evening:
- Ariana Grande — The Eternal Sunshine Tour, Barclays Center, Brooklyn. Closing night of her five-night NYC residency. 8pm. Tickets →
- Bon Jovi — Forever Tour, Madison Square Garden. Sixth in-window date of their nine-night MSG run. Tickets →
Some people will watch the Final at a fan zone or bar in the afternoon, then attend a concert in the evening. Both venues are reachable within 30–45 minutes of each other by subway.
🌿 Central Park Watch Party — Free
50,000 fans on the Great Lawn, three giant LED screens, live entertainment, and a halftime show produced by Global Citizen. Doors open at noon, kickoff at 3pm. Free, but requires a lottery ticket via the Global Citizen website. The lottery opened June 11 and closes July 16 — register immediately if you haven't. 20% of tickets reserved for NYC nonprofits and volunteers.
🚆 Getting There
NJ Transit from Penn Station to Secaucus Junction, then transfer to the Meadowlands shuttle — approximately 45–60 minutes total. The $98 round-trip ticket must be purchased in advance; the station will be overwhelmed on Final day. See the complete NJ Transit match day guide.
📺 Watching Without a Ticket
If you're watching the Final from a bar, fan zone, or home: FuboTV and YouTube TV both carry Fox (US English broadcast) and Telemundo (Spanish broadcast) and both offer free trials that cover the Final.
