NYC Adds 5 More Free World Cup Watch Parties — Soccer Streets Expands Through July
Mayor Zohran Mamdani and NYC DOT Commissioner Mike Flynn announced five additional free Soccer Streets watch parties on June 24, bringing the DOT plaza program to nine events total — now running through the semifinals on July 15.

The Soccer Streets program transforms plazas and pedestrian spaces into free outdoor viewing parties, each pairing a live match broadcast with a cultural performance and neighborhood programming. Several events include guided group bike rides organized by Black Girls Do Bike.
